Ilinca [ee-link-ah] is a Romanian illustrator and print designer based on London, UK
Her curiosity and gentle vision of the world shows in her work as Atelier Bobina.
She developed her vibrant style while pursuing a UX designer career, which gave her the comfort to explore and find her voice. A happy result of being self-taught is that her colour combinations are intuitive and her strokes unconstrained. Her vibrant style shines in illustrations, repeat patterns, and short animations.
Her work is inspired by her inner child daydreaming on the lace-adorned balcony of her childhood. The color palette traces back to Romanian winter traditions and their bold colourful costumes – it adds cheer and delight into all her pieces, no matter the season.
She also sews and screen prints, and currently is working on building a printing table in her garage.
