Ilinca [ee-link-ah] is a Romanian illustrator and print designer based on London. 

Her curiosity and gentle vision of the world shows in her creative endeavour as Atelier Bobina.

She developed her naive style in parallel with her career in tech, which gave her the comfort to explore and find her voice. Strong colour combinations come intuitively, and her shapes are effortless with loose marks that follow no rules.

Inspiration comes from zoomed in flowers, images under her eyelids before bed, Enzo Mari’s pear and a quiet day at any museum. Her characteristic style shines in playful illustrations, repeat patterns, and short animations. 

Since learning how to screen print and sew garments, production techniques influenced how she plans her designs. This opened for Ilinca a new world of printing, textile design, and pattern making.
