Garden harvest
Series of three blankets screen-printed and machine-sewn
The story of the blankets begins in my parents’ garden, where I used to pick tomatoes, apples and marigolds. After a day’s work, we would bring them home crammed into the boot, wrapped in blankets so they wouldn’t tip over.
The aim of the project was to learn screen-printing techniques and incorporate the process into the production of an object, from concept through to assembly.
